3 Billing Strategies for Consultants

Generally, there are three ways you can bill a customer: Hourly, a set retainer rate paid weekly (or bi-weekly, or monthly), or a set retainer rate paid in advance (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). Cat takes a look at each.

Again, I want a text version of the info. I read much faster than the video runs – I don’t have time to waste watching videos. From now on, if I see Cat Miller or Dice TV on a Dice email, I’ll just delete it.

Richard, I’m sorry you don’t like the videos — many times they’re related to a story we’ve previously posted. When that’s the case we link to the full story. We present DiceTV in its current format, because a number of users like it this way, and we want to serve them as well. If you’re interested in the topic, I’d urge you to look at Cat’s post and check out the linked item or, if there isn’t one, send me an email and we’ll do a separate story on the topic.

      Best,

      Mark

I agree with Richard. I’m busy. I don’t have time to watch these videos when I can read the info 2-3x faater. Kat’s nice persona notwithstanding, I’ve stopped clicking these links since the transcripts went away again.
