Our Policy on Discriminatory Job Postings

Dice LogoDice.com has very strict guidelines regarding discriminatory job advertisements, including forbidden practices on various pages employers and recruiters use to create job advertisements. On a daily basis, we proactively search our site for the various discriminatory terms. In the rare instances that we find an advertisement that doesn’t comply with our policies, we contact the employer or recruiter to have the ad removed promptly. If the employer or recruiter fails to comply, we remove the advertisement.

On any given day, you’ll find more than 80,000 technology jobs advertised on Dice.com and we have zero tolerance for discrimination of any kind on our site, in recruiting practices and in the workplace. We encourage anyone using our site that sees an advertisement that doesn’t comply with our terms to contact our support department at 888-321-3423.

About Tom Silver

Thomas M. Silver has been Senior Vice President, North America since September 2009, after joining our predecessor Dice Inc. in 2001. Bringing more than 20 years of executive marketing and management experience, Mr. Silver is responsible for overseeing Dice.com, ClearanceJobs and AllHealthcareJobs. Prior to joining Dice, Mr. Silver served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Bowne and Co., Inc from 1998 to 2001; Director and later Vice President of Marketing at American Express Company from 1988 to 1998 and he began his career in marketing at Unilever, Inc. in 1983. Mr. Silver holds a B.A. in economics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from New York University School of Business.
