AiNet Sees New Maryland Data Center Creating 2,500 Jobs

AiNet, a Maryland-based infrastructure provider, will open the largest standalone data center in the Washington, D.C., region this summer.

At 300,000 square feet, the CyberNetworkAccessPoint Data Center in Glen Burnie will generate and estimated 2,500 jobs, including 1,000 IT jobs, the company says.

The new data center, expected to open in July, will contain more than 10,000 equipment cabinets and support more than one million servers in a space formerly occupied by the Boscov’s department store chain.
