Space Travel for the Rest of Us. Sort Of

Space travel: Another frontier for the free market. To be a space tourist today you have to be pretty much rich, able to pay tens of millions of dollars for the privilege. But folks like Richard Branson want to bring the masses to orbit — well, the 1 percent , anyway — with approaches that could boost you hundreds of miles up for less than $200,000.

The Huffington Post was kind enough to a slide show on six ways you could purchase a ticket if you’ve got the money. The drop from $30 million to $200,000 per flight is to say the least dramatic, so who’s to say a further fall slide is impossible?
