What’s More Valuable at Shows: Roaming the Floor or Partying?

Let’s look back to when I was roaming the floor at the Game Developers Conference. I caught up with four eager developers and designers seeking opportunities in the career pavilion. Chris Simpson, Brett Cutler, Dan Fischbach, and Patrick Thor Gass are all students of DigiPen, a school in game development. I asked what they’d learned at GDC, and what kinds of jobs they’re looking for.

Somebody please invite Brett Cutler to dinner.
