WitStream: A Channel of Snark for Live Events

The best part of watching The Oscars on TV is hanging with your friends and making obnoxious comments. Realizing that this layer of snark over live TV is often warmly appreciated, TV producer Lisa Cohen started WitStream, a comedy headline news curated Twitter list. At SXSW, I spoke with comedian and Creative Content Officer Michael Ian Black about how they use WitStream as a comedy channel for popular live events such as the State of the Union, the Oscars, and American Idol.
